The Mapleton ATV Club Annual Trail Clean Up Day - May18th, 2024.
We are tentatively scheduling our trail clean up for May18th. This will depend upon the trail conditions. If the trails are too wet, we will postpone. We will make the final decision during the club meeting on the 17th.
There will be food and drinks provided at the Adirondack Shelter during the clean up day. We will be gathering at the Mapleton One-Stop at 9AM to determine the groups and the trail assignments. I've heard there may be quite a few trees down. Please bring a chainsaw if you have one. Safety is the number one rule, please have the appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment) (i.e. gloves, eye protection, appropriate footwear, etc.). There will be lots of manual labor involved for all skill levels. All are invited to join the crews.
